OSINT I - Open Source Investigator®

This OSINT Training I (Beginner) goes much deeper than you think, despite the name. During this three-day course, you will not only learn how the Internet works, what traces you leave behind on the Internet and how you can prevent this from happening, but you will also learn how to search for information very specifically via search engines, websites and social media. You will also learn how to organise your research and how to record the results so that your research reports are reliable and reproducible end products. After attending this training course, you can follow the OSINT Training II (Professional). This three-day training is part of the Certified Open Source Intelligence Specialist® Register training.

Target audience‍

The OSINT Training I (Beginner) is intended for detectives, analysts and investigators from within the public and private sectors and for anyone who is involved in gathering information on the Internet in the context of investigation, enforcement, surveillance or intelligence.The training is suitable for employees of the police, defence, intelligence services, special investigation services, banks, private investigation agencies, law firms and companies with internal fraud departments, among others.

Study load

The student is engaged in this course for 3 days, 7 hours per day. The student is expected to have completed 3 hours of self-study prior to the training. An exam follows this training.
