Cellebrite Evidence Repair Technician - Forensic (CERT-F)

The CERT-F course focuses on teaching students how to repair defective or damaged mobile devices for the purpose of extraction. This interactive course teaches how to replace key components of mobile devices, and USB flash drives, and how to disassemble and reassemble these devices. It also explains how to solder, for example to replace or repair parts, such as data and charging connectors, broken screens, power buttons, home buttons.

TARGETED AUDIENCE

This course is intended for technical researchers. There are no requirements for completed courses. At the end of this course, the student will be able to independently repair a faulty phone, replace parts where necessary and read out.

STUDY LOAD

The student is engaged in this course for 5 days, 8 hours per day, and does not need to apply any self-study outside the class days.

STUDY MATERIAL

The student will receive a textbook which will become the student's property at the end of the course.

QUALIFICATIONS

There are two (2) examinations in this course. If these are successfully completed then the CERT-F certificate will be awarded, if the exams are not completed (or not taken) then the student will receive a Certificate of Participation.
